The Lady Margaret Hall Library

The College is proud of its handsome library which is one of its major academic resources and provides a pleasant study and research environment for all its members.

It contains more than 70,000 books on open access and subscribes to many important periodicals.
There are some 60 bays for individual study and a separate reading room for Law, with computer access to various databases and to on-line catalogues in Oxford and throughout the world.

Oxford's students also have available the vast resources of the Bodleian and the specialist collections of faculty libraries, but LMH library contains most of the books needed for undergraduate courses in Oxford. Some provision is also made for graduates.

Enquiries may be addressed to the Librarian, Roberta Staples, e-mail address: roberta.staples@lmh.ox.ac.uk.
