Oxford University undergraduate admissions web site: http://www.admissions.ox.ac.uk/finance/
The cost of accommodation for a
college room is £3189.00 for three nine week terms (this allows
you to stay in your room a little longer than the teaching
term of eight weeks)., You have to pay extra for any additional
nights at
£15.35 per night. There is a £100 caution deposit payment required at the start of the course.
You are required to pay a fixed charge towards meals, whether
you eat in college or not (apart form those with medical reasons
for needing to prepare their own food). Full prepayment of
college meals is currently £161.00 per term. Other options
include a smaller prepayment cost but a charge for each meal
taken.
Costs are more expensive outside
college. However there is normally a small grant made for
those who have to live out to help to defray the extra expense.
We do not have special funds at
entry for undergraduates beyond those administered by the
University. See http://www.admissions.ox.ac.uk/finance/
and, for overseas students: http://www.admissions.ox.ac.uk/finance/ovseas.shtml.
Bursaries may be available through
the Oxford Bursary Fund.
For unexpected hardship during the
course grants are sometimes available in conjunction with
the University Hardship Fund.
Scholarships and prizes are awarded
each year for students on course who have performed exceptionally
well in University examinations, which may include a small
financial award.
